This week has been a journey of learning and optimizing my Google Ads campaigns. One of my key takeaways was the importance of data-driven decision-making. By analyzing performance metrics such as click-through rates (CTR), average cost per click (CPC), conversions, and cost per conversion, I was able to start making informed decisions and understanding which keywords to pause and which ads to optimize next week. This strategic approach not only helps in budget allocation but also ensures that the ads are relevant and appealing to potential customers.

Additionally, I delved into setting up conversion tracking in Google Analytics and on my website. While it initially required some tweaking and thorough Google searching, I eventually figured it out. This experience helped me learn the significance of tracking conversions accurately to measure the success of ad campaigns and make necessary adjustments for improved performance. I used a page view of my “thank you” page after someone inquires as my action for conversions.

Overall, this week's learning taught me the importance of continuous optimization, data analysis, and leveraging tools like Google Analytics to track conversions effectively. These insights will influence my future strategies and lead to more successful campaigns.
